Group Nordic Ski Lesson

We took two nordic lessons-one for our son with Josh because he is already an advanced skier and the other four of us with Gary, as we are beginners. What an amazing facility and rentals. Everything, including the trails and equipment, were well taken care of and beautiful. Thanks to Josh and Gary, our instructors, we had such a blast, they helped each of us improve and then we were able to ski together as a family of 5-THANK YOU!

We took a Classic Nordic Ski Lesson with Gary. What an amazing fun experience having Gary as our instructor. The Nordic Center Is a fantastic facility with a cozy mountain vibe, easy check-in and rental fittings.

I took a classic Nordic ski lesson from Jim. This was my first time at the Nordic Center, and my first experience with classic skiing. Jim is an absolute treasure. His knowledge and teaching methods are so helpful for the brand new skier. I left feeling confident in my abilities and safe in how I was going to proceed once I was on my own. I left Alpine skiing because of a lack of feeling safe, and I have found myself in a new sport where I feel very safe and skilled thanks to Jim’s teaching methods. I will be back as soon as I’m able to do a few more runs and continue to practice my new sport. Thank you, Jim! Yesterday was a perfect day!

I took classic nordic skiing lessons with Gary & it was a great experience! Gary was an incredible instructor - he made it easy to learn & I felt fully prepared to hit the trails by myself after our lesson. The facilities, trails, and staff exceeded my expectations! This place is a true gem!

I took the Nordic Classic lesson with Jerry and have no previous experience with any type of skiing. There were 4 ladies in the lesson, none of whom knew each other and 3 of us with no experience. Jerry started with the rudimentary and worked us up to the basics. Once we finished the lesson 3 of us stayed and skied one of the trails with amazing mountain views and were able to utilize all of our skills. Great lesson and opportunity to meet new people and be able to practice the learned skills that same day.

I would leave 6 stars if I could. I absolutely loved this experience! It was my first time doing nordic/XC skiing and Jerry really was a great teacher. I had a group lesson with him and 3 other ladies (none of which knew each other) while my family was up on the mountain. Everyone who worked in the facility was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I went back out on the trails with the ladies after the lesson. We took a break for lunch, then I went out again on my own. Amazing workout, beautiful trails and the ski center itself was just gorgeous. Gino played the accordion while I waited for my family to finish skiing. Pricing was very reasonable for an entire day of skiing w/rentals and a lesson! I have always wanted to try this, and now that I have I will certainly do it again.

We are senior citizens and had not done cross country skiing for many years so signed up for the lesson. The guys were so great and patient with us and we had a great time. A very nice experience!

Fabulous experience! Highly recommend Breckenridge Nordic Center. Everyone at the center was friendly, helpful, patience. First time cross country skiing. Our instructor, Jim, was excellent! We laughed as much as we skied. BRAVO JIM! We even saw a Moose munching on willow. The beautiful day at BNC our trip unforgettable.

Great ski lesson with Jerry! I learned so much and had a lot of fun. The trails are beautifully groomed and the maps and signage are very good. No Moose - maybe next time! I would highly recommend the BNC. Also - super easy to get to w/o a car.

I believe my lesson was with Jerry, and he did a great job! He was very knowledgable and helped me in any way that he could. Everyone was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend Breckenridge Nordic Center!

Gary was my instructor and he was outstanding! I would highly recommend Breckenridge Nordic as all of the staff was very friendly, the lodge was warm, very clean and well stocked. The rental process was super easy and the whole experience was amazing. The trails were easy to follow and well maintained.

I can no longer ski alpine because of a back injury. I took a lesson to see if I would enjoy cross country. I had a great time. It was a small class with Gary and he was attentive to all of us. He was so patient with my many, many questions and I really appreciated his positive attitude and careful attention to the varying experience level of the individual students. I would highly recommend a lesson, especially if you are transitioning from downhill. There are a lot of differences and you will enjoy cross country much better when you understand the nuances.

I had a classic cross country ski lesson with Jim along with my 2 friends. Jim did a great job teaching us how to ski. He was very knowledgeable, fun, encouraging, and reinforced what we needed to learn to feel confident about skiing. This is my second time coming to the Breckenridge Nordic Center. I had such a good experience last year with my 2 sons that I brought my friends this year and my son had a ski skate lesson as well. From the beginning, Mary was very helpful in booking our lessons since we had more folks than spots available. The staff at the Nordic Center provided great service in getting our food, drinks, and equipment. It was such a pleasant experience that I'm sure we will be back! Thank you for a fun time!

My sister, her husband, and I took the Group Nordic Beginner Ski Lesson, and it was a fun, great experience! The price was reasonable at $105 per person and included the skis, poles, and shoes. The facility and the ski area are beautiful and peaceful. I wanted to write this review the same day, but the system was showing an error, so I'm not sure if the trainer was Andy or Jerry, but if I remember well, his name ended with a y. The trainer was kind and patient with us. I am a 57-year-old woman, and I want to get more in shape and do nature and outdoor activities like skiing more often. I loved this experience and I want to take more ski lessons! I highly recommend Breckenridge Nordic Center.

I had never done cross-country skiing before. Many years ago I did downhill skiing, but a leg injury has prevented me from doing this. I am in Breckenridge with my partner who is attending a conference and is an avid downhill skier. I would give cross country skiing a try and I’m very pleased I did so I took a lesson with Jerry., an outstanding. And very patient teacher, who taught me the basics of the sport. I was able to take some of the easier trails and enjoyed it thoroughly. I plan to return over the next few days to try some of the trails. The trails are well kept and go through some very beautiful countryside. An extremely enjoyable experience. The staff at the center are extremely friendly and helpful and added to the overall enjoyment. A highly recommended activity.

I took a beginner cross country lesson and everything was wonderful from start to finish. The staff in the lodge are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. There was a large group registered for our lesson time, they split us up so we could have more individual attention. My instructor Jerry was clear in his instructions and offered helpful corrections as we practiced each skill. I was nervous about going back to the sport after 30 years away but by the end felt comfortable on the skis and confident that I could manage the trails. The setting itself is beautiful and well-maintained. I highly recommend this business!

I had a super time with my instructor Gary. He was confidence-inspiring, supportive, and energetic. The facility is beautiful and the staff -- from reception to rentals to teaching -- is top notch. I can't wait to return next year.
