Dog Sledding - Tagsled Tour

This place was AWESOME!! About an hour drive from Breckenridge through beautiful scenery. When we arrived, we checked in at the front desk and loved on a sweet dog in the front lobby. When it was time to go, our tour guide Brett, came and greeted us. We have been dog sledding before in Utah, and what I found so incredible about this place was how Brett introduced us to each of the dogs on his sled. He went one by one down the line and told us interesting facts about each one. My girls also got to greet each dog and say hello. Once we finished, we loaded up. 2 of us in one sled while Brett steered, and my daughter in the back sled while my husband steered. The dogs were happy and anxious to get going! The mountains were breathtaking and Brett shared interesting facts along the way. About 3 miles in, we stopped to give the dogs a rest and to take photos. Once we were finished we loaded up! This time my husband and one daughter in the front sled while Brett steered and my other daughter in the back sled while I steered. It was wonderful!! Afterwards, my girls were able to say hello to the other dogs and take pictures. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a breathtaking view with great staff!!

This was our first time to dogsled And we loved it. Family of four with a 16 and 18 yr old. The tour guide was great, keep us laughing, and very knowledgeable of area and dogs. Loved how he introduced each dog and told about them. Views was amazing as we were on last tour as sun was setting. Definitely recommend this tour.

If you want to experience a wonderful time in the great outdoors, I highly recommend Alpine Adventures! They were great from booking onward. The entire staff was knowledgable and helpful. Meeting all the dogs was great. The ride was the perfect mixture of exhilarating and peaceful. A must do! Ask for Zack- he was a great guide!

My Wife and I received this Dogsled package from our children for a Christmas present. It was a great gift and memorable experience. We found Alpine Adventures to be friendly, accommodating and teh Musher we had was extremely considerate, patient, and took time to let us meet every dog on the team. They are professional and I feel that the dogs are very well cared for. This is a great organization. Even teh owner took time to talk with me as we crossed paths in the parking area. Thanks for a great experience and we highly recommend Alpine Adventures.

Awesome experience!! I would recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the Leadville area. Our guide Bekah was so professional, experienced, and knowledgeable of dogsledding and more importantly the dogs. She let us meet each on before the ride and gave us the history of each dog. She has a great personality, and we were lucky have her as our guide. It's great way to spend a couple of hours while in the area.

We were so excited to go dog sledding on our sister trip to Vail. It is a beautiful 40 minute drive to a gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. Austin was our guide and was absolutely superb. He exceeded our expectations. We were introduced to our 12 dogs who were very excited to get out on the snow. We got great pictures and had a great time. Definitely a must do!

Our tour guide was Guy and he was very friendly and an amazing guide. The dogs are very well taken care of and love what they do. It is a very nice way to spend the afternoon doing something fun and unique as dog sledding. Thank you to Guy and to Alpine Adventures!

Our family had a wonderful experience, it was a first class treatment with a first class guide, Austin. We did quite a few things on our trip to Colorado, but my 8 year old said dog sledding was his favorite!!

Went on April 8… last weekend prior to their season closing. My kids fave! Staff are nice… dogs are funny and loves to bark and bark until it’s time to run! mushing was trickier than it looks but was fun! The view while sledding was amazing! Shoutout to Cowgirl, Desmond and Pretzel!

It was a unique experience of mushing the dogs, watching them to cooperate and being excited to pull the sleds! Our guide Guy is very knowledgeable and patient. He introduced us to each dog, explained their roles andbehavior. It was so fun to command to the huskies “all right guys ready” and get moving!

My nine-year-old son and I had an incredible time on our tour with our guide, Braun. Not only were our expectations met, they were far exceeded! Braun did a phenomenal job introducing us to every one of the dogs in his team, while also answering every question we had and providing great information on dogsledding in general. We even got to visit the kennel afterward to visit many of the 114 dogs. An important note is that, after looking at a few other companies before booking this tour, is that this is the only company that offered the tagsled option, allowing for a much greater personal experience. Not only would I recommend Alpine Adventures, we will most definitely be coming back again ourselves.

We had the best time on the tagsledding tour! Our guide Wes was fantastic, and the dogs were wonderful - our daughter got lots of cuddle time in with several of them. This was one of the coolest experiences we have had.
