If you're planning on rafting on the Arkansas River I highly recommend using this company. Browns Canyon Rafting will not disappoint! The check in process is conveinent, fast and the staff in the office are friendly and helpful. If you have any questions on whichever section of the river your going on, the office or guides can inform you. The guides themselves are knowledgeable and informative, Monica the guide that I had during my tour taught us everything we needed to know in a funny yet serious way on the van ride to our starting point. Once we were on the river I felt confident that if anything unplanned were to happen we would be in good hands with Monica. The first stretch of the river starts out pretty slow, you encounter a few class I-II rapids giving you some time to practice the paddling techniques and go over the training course we received on the van ride. By the time we got to the bigger rapids further down the river, we had a pretty good grasp of our duties on the raft. Between the rapids of the river there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery of Browns Canyon, Monica pointed out some cool landmarks and could identify all the wildlife we came across on the river. Overall I had a great time on the river and would definitely go rafting with Browns Canyon again.
