Salida Anglers came to fruition when two long time Arkansas River guides decided to start a fly fishing and whitewater rafting guide service of their own. We couldn't have done it without the help of our family, friends, and community. Salida Anglers is proud to be a locally owned and employed River Outfitter in the heart of Salida, CO. Don't let our name fool you, we love our whitewater as much as we enjoy our gold medal fishing waters. In our spare time, you can find us traveling in exploration for other amazing whitewater rivers. We pride ourselves in being a smaller outfitter, and are committed to making your adventure one that you’ll never forget.

Enjoy of Full Day on the Arkansas River Floating Gold Medal Fishing Waters

Our full day float check in time is 8:00am and usually gets back around 5:00pm. Your guide meet and greet will be held at check in to ensure that you have everything you need for the day ( Flies, Leaders, Sunscreen, Hat). Our full day float maximizes anglers chances of catching quality fish throughout the feeding cycle and taking advantage our the various fishing methods (Dry Flies, Nymphing, Dry Dropper). Our full day will on average cover 10-15 miles of the beautiful Arkansas River. An on water lunch will be provided giving you the chance to eat riverside, relaxing as the time flows by.

A great trip for beginners or those who have limited time schedules. Our morning half day trips will be fishing through morning feeding cycle so we will be fishing methods that are proven through those periods.
