Tahoe Helicopters provides scenic helicopter tours, high altitude flight training (primary and advanced), and a platform for aerial photography.

Flight Training

Tahoe Helicopters provides primary and advanced flight training all from the South Tahoe Airport, with a field elevation of 6,264ft above sea level.

Train with Tahoe Helicopters and you will gain intimate knowledge of mountain flying techniques, such as power management in power-limited environments, and an understanding of mountain and valley wind patterns.

Aerial Photography

Aerial photography is used in real-estate advertising, land-use planning, movie production, environmental studies, animal counting, construction project surveillance, commercial advertising, and artistic projects.

Showcasing beautiful Fallen Leaf lake, Cascade Lake, Taylor Creek, and Pope Beach, this tour heads to breathtaking Emerald Bay. Surrounded by granite cathedrals and fed by Eagle falls, the lake's only true bay is named for its emerald green waters.  


Zephyr Cove Helicopter Tour

This tour encompasses the entire south shore of Lake Tahoe, starting with a trip up the east shore into Nevada. Witness the beautiful indigo blue waters and teal shorelines as you fly to Zephyr Cove. After circling Zephyr Cove, the tour heads west along the south shoreline past Fallen Leaf Lake and Cascade Lake to Emerald Bay.

Fly over some of the locals' best kept secrets, the hidden beaches and bays along the east shoreline: Glenbrook Bay, Secret Harbor, Skunk Harbor, and Chimney Beach. After reaching Sand Harbor, we climb up for a look at Marlette Lake, at 7,841 feet above sea level! 


Lakes and Waterfalls Helicopter Tour

Lakes and Waterfalls

Starting at South Tahoe Airport, this 30 minute tour first embarks to Emerald Bay, then south along the mountains over Cascade Lake, past Mount Tallac, and over the shoreline of Fallen Leaf lake. Head west over Glen Alpine Creek, with Glen Alpine Falls below, climbing towards Pyramid Peak, at an elevation of 9,984 feet! The area is scattered with myriad lakes and waterfalls. Fly over Lake Aloha and past Horsetail Falls, dropping nearly 500 feet. The tour concludes by flying over upper and lower Echo Lake before returning to the airport.


Circle the Lake - 45 Minute Tour

This 45 minute ride follows Lake Tahoe's pristine 72 mile shoreline, shimmering in shades of green and blue. While most of the shoreline is visible from the roads and highways circling the lake, nothing can compare to the view from a helicopter!
