Join us for the summer trip that started it all – Whitewater Rafting from NYC! If you’re looking for an excuse to escape the city on a hot summer day, we’ve got you covered.

Twisting turns, rollicking rapids, and Sourced Adventures. There’s no better recipe for an awesome day on the Lehigh River. Cruise down 9 miles of class III rapids all the while taking in some of the best scenery the Poconos has to offer. The river runs through miles of a pristine gorge, allowing you to feel secluded and remote, despite being just 2 hours away from NYC.

Meet the Sourced Adventures staff at 85 Delancey Street or West 45th Street and 11th Avenue to board a bus for whitewater challenges, where you’ll take a short ride to the Lehigh River for approximately three to four hours of rafting down Class II to III rapids on the river’s best dam-release days. You’ll raft for two to three hours, then break for lunch. After lunch, you’ll spend another hour Whitewater Rafting on the Lehigh before heading back to NYC.

Whitewater Rafting is the ultimate summer pastime, so don’t miss out! When the city gets hot there is no better way to cool off. We’ll see you on the bus!

Boston River Tubing & Brewery Experience

Escape the heat with Sourced Adventures and join us on our Boston River Tubing & Brewery day trip. Meet your Group Leader in Cambridge or at The North Face on Newbury street where we’ll board a bus and head to one of our favorite stretches of river. The drive will be a bit over 2 hours, so be sure to pack some snacks! Once we arrive at the river, grab your included tube rental and hit the river. Enjoy the next 2.5-3 hour river float with friends, new and old, on the water. There’s no better way to spend a Saturday!

Following the tubing session, dry off and change into some dry clothing. While changing we’ll enjoy a quick sandwich lunch on the banks of the river.  After refueling, we’ll jump back on the bus and head to one of our favorite local breweries for the afternoon, located about a 20 minute drive from the river. Don’t forget your cash/card, you’ll want to try one of the delicious brews on tap! We’ll depart the brewery in time to get back to Boston by the early evening (approximately 7pm, depending on traffic).

Time to get ready and rowdy for summer River Tubing & Brewery trips! That’s right folks, our very popular river tubing & brewery tour has finally made it to the District. After all, what could be better than spending a summer day floating down a river followed by a trip to an awesome brewery to enjoy a few cold ones? In our view, nothing.

Meet your bus and guide at one of our pickup locations and we’ll take care of the rest. After a short drive, you’ll enjoy a relaxing 3-hour river tubing experience down the beautiful Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. And since we know you’re going to ask, yes coolers are permitted on the water. After you’ve gotten your fill of floating, hop off the river and head back to our tubing center to enjoy a hearty BBQ lunch.

After some lick-smacking good food, change and hop back on the bus for a quick drive over to Vanish Farmhouse Brewery. Not only does Vanish brew more than 20 of their own beers, they also grow hops on site that helps allow other regional breweries to keep their ingredients local. See what all the fuss is about and relax after tubing to enjoy your included 5oz tasting inside or outside at this beautiful brewery.
