About the Company
Roger's Snowbike Rentals was started in the wake of Vail Resorts in 2012 granting Snowbikes access to its resorts including at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Since then, the profile of Snowbiking has been raised to a point where we can consistently offer our guests an experience that exceeds eveyone's expectations. Around mid-January usually there is enough snow in the trees for runs and berms to start packing out from skier and snowboarders. Snowbikers can explore these tree trails and berms using their footskis as brakes. This is what makes Snowbiking unique. Beginners can ride through the trees on easy slopes without even wearing footskis. Just dig your heels in! GO OFF-ROAD WITH SNOWBIKE.
About the Owner
Roger Hollenbeck brought the sport of Snowbiking from Europe to the U.S. in 1996 and has worked with ski areas across the continent to gain access to their slopes and establish a Snowbike market. He has opened Snowbike programs at many resorts in the United States and strives to continue developing this exciting, new sport at Breckenridge Ski Area. Roger lives year round in Breckenridge with his wife.
About the Team
Roger, the owner, has 27 years of equiping Snowbiking guests and teaching them safe lift and slope operation. He created the "How it works" video so everyone can learn safely on the website and using their mobile device. Additionally he created "Day before Ski School", a product designed specifically to get never skiers comfortable with sliding on snow and using the chairlift before starting their first ski lesson with Breckenridge Ski and Ride School. This seaon Roger created "Adventure Maps" which is a series of maps you can find on the website with your phone while you're out on the slope that shows first time Snowbikers where to find wonderful tree runs to explore and enhance your first day experience with un-guided tours of the area.
